MY STORY…

Hey friend!

I wanted to share a little bit with you today about my story, how I got into this business, and why I have a passion for the lash extension industry as a whole.

I grew up in Tucson and graduated from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness.

Towards the end of my degree, I was required to do an internship. I decided on interning at a Health Resort in Tucson, called Miraval.

At this time, they were undergoing a $5 million dollar renovation to the Spa, and my title was the Spa Project Coordinator (which I thought was suuuuuper cool), even though I was working FO FREE.

This time at the spa taught me A LOT. I learned customer service, the wholesale costs of services, what service providers could earn, and so so much more. Both of my parents are entrepreneurs, so I feel like it was always in my blood to become one as well.

I graduated and had the internship complete, and decided that a desk job was not for me, and I wanted the treatment room to be my office. I asked every esthetician at the resort if they enjoyed being in this line of work. They all had the same answer: “my only regret is not starting sooner.”

And so I began my journey. I enrolled in Pure Aesthetics in Tucson, AZ, and got my Esthetician License.

Did I mention I was in the Army at the time? lol.

I was also in the Army National Guard as a Logistics Officer (another story for another day), and I did this while working at my first esthetician job at the European Wax Center.

In April of 2018, after 8 months of working at the wax center, I quit my job and found a suite to rent in Scottsdale and started my own business. In my first month, I made more money than I ever made working for someone else, and I was hooked.

In my first year (a long year), I learned so much. But I knew I could do more. Three years later I started my product line. I used my products but couldn’t get the hang of selling them. I tried many things. After many trials, errors, successes, and fails, we can fast forward to now, 2022. I offer in person and online lash trainings, and have a thriving product line.

Paying off $30k in student loan debt and my car (in under 2 years of being a lash artist), owning a home, raising 3 kids and having freedom of time and schedule are just a few of the things being a lash artist has afforded me.

My goals are ever growing and expanding, with the ultimate aim to help as many lash artists as possible have lucrative careers that they love, without working more.

And we’re just getting started!

I’m currently operating my business in North Phoenix where I offer in person lash trainings, I take clients, and I sell products online and offer a pickup in store option. I’m so thankful to this industry and for what it’s allowed for me, and I’m SO grateful that you are here. Thank you for reading my story, I can’t wait to connect more with you 🙂
